What Annoys You?

Here's a thread idea that is very popular on a Red Sox board I frequent.

My current annoyance? My roommate's father. This man yammers constantly, and since she isn't home, he has decided to stay up with me (so lucky, I know) and he's just mumbling and mumbling through this whole basketball game I'm trying to watch.

Yeesh.

I will probably be a frequent visitor to this thread as ALOT of things annoy me

My first annoyance is, people that pull out in front of you and then drive reeeeaaally slow, like they couldn't have waited 10 more seconds for me to pass??

Oh, man, yeah. I hate that!

Okay, so it rained here today. The thing about living here is that folks can't drive in the rain. It's like they've never seen it before. So needless to say my already fifty minute (each way!) commute was extended this evening!

Ahhh..that would suck.


Another driving related thing I hate is when someone is driving slow and you go to pass them and they speed up!

Here's another one:

I have the bonus track Blow Wind Blow from Viv's TSOI record, and I downloaded it from Yahoo back in November of 05. I cannot for the life of me get it to work with iTunes. I don't get it. It's making me nuts. It'll work with WINAMP or Windows Media Player, but not iTunes, so I can't get it onto my iPod. Very, very annoying.

Does anyone here know how to convert such a file? I've tried a bunch of times to 'Open With' iTunes and nothing happens! I can send the file to someone if they can help out with this!

Also, does anyone have Vivian's demo of "Work It Out?" I used to have it but I can't find it now!

Melissa was having problems w/ a song I sent her the other night, she said iTunes was saying it was an invalid file type (Ithink) something like that. It was the only one that did that.

I wish I did have that Viv song, I do have him and P.C doing 'Don't Believe A Word'

Another annoyance of mine is, when people don't know how to relax and have a good time and feel the need to pick on those that do.

Some people come on the internet to forget about their problems and have fun and some people feel the need to nit pick about everything that is said and done by people that know how to have fun. No one is perfect, so before you point out people's faults and flaws, take a look at yourself.

I have one I have one!! Right now I hate stupid people who won't get their stuff done so I can close my loan and move into my new house!!!!!!! Come on People!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible, horrible weather. We had ginormous storms Thursday night and on through yesterday. Remember that commute I have? Goodness!

Plus yesterday was my last day to work of the month before closeout, which is today. For those of you who have never had to do the commission thing, I'll tell ya that big huge thunderstorms and tornado warnings do not make for good closeouts! People cancel appointments and such, and when you work for commission and are trying to make your monthly numbers (and earn money), it makes for a difficult day!

I'm just glad March is over!

I have a work related annoyance, I get so tired of every single order I put in, when it comes in, half of the stuff isn't available and that cuts into how much money I make in that order. Makes me so mad!

My employer annoyed me by giving me a 3% raise and having the nerve to call it a "merit raise." Cost of living anyone?

Here's mine: mean people. I just do not understand for the life of me people who are plain old mean for no reason. Last client of the day yesterday was just an uber-bitch and I've no idea why. It got so bad that another client who was there asked her consultant why that woman was being so ugly to me.

Blech.

That's the kind of stuff that I have a hard time with, if someone isn't nice to me, it's very hard for me to be nice to them. It's just how I am.

Right now, the weather is driving me crazy, it has been so nice the last couple of weeks, in the 70's and 80's, even got in the 90's one day, and now they're calling for cold temps again, a low of 19 for one day this week. WTH? Make up your damn mind, I never know how to dress from day to day right now.

Thanks...I'll probably survive it.

She has lived in other states in the 19 years we've been friends and I know that distance won't diminish our bond. Her beautiful babies though, that's who I'm really gonna miss! (That would be the boys I posted pics of in the Userbars thread...)

Thanks. Originally she thought they were moving to the San Francisco area, but now they are house shopping in Huntington Beach, just south of LA on the coast. I guess I could have worse places to visit on vacation! I get to fly out with her and the kids the first week of July to help them get settled in. Yea!
