I hate losing a pet, in any way. I lost 2 cats within a year of each other. I had to have one put to sleep and the next year, another one died. I think it's been 2 and 3 years ago now. I might post their pics eventually.

Some of my cats will answer to other names too. I often have to type w/ one hand b/c I'm holding one of my cats. They are SPOILED! Very Happy

LOL...believe it or not...there IS! He takes after his momma...she has a coat like you wouldn't believe. We have to shave them down in the summer because it gets so hot here.

He's a pekingese...we've raised/bred them since I was in high school back in the 70's. We bought from show people back in 1996, and Max is the result of breeding very high quality show stock! He was born with a birth defect in his mouth/upper lip due to his momma having to get antibiotics when she was early in her pregnancy, but other than that, Max could have been a show dog/champion himself. I just love this little shit to death!

How often do you have to take him to be groomed?

We groom them....we've heard too many horror stories about grooming places. But Max does NOT allow any sort of grooming....I have the scars on my arms to prove it! I have to have dad put on THICK gardening gloves and hold his head if I need to cut any knots or tangles out....the little shit is ORNERY!
